<br />2. The Contractor shall demonstrate complete conformance with requirements of <br />this section in submitting price list. <br /> <br />3. This provision of unit prices shall in no way be construed as permitting <br />substitution for specific items described on the drawings or these specifications <br />unless substitution has been accepted in writing and in advance by the <br />Consultant. <br /> <br />B. Material Review and Certification: <br /> <br />1. The Consultant shall review all materials identified as "matched", "tree form" or <br />"specimen", or as defined in these specifications, at the nursery source to verify <br />species, vigor, size, condition, shape, quantity, for compliance with specification <br />and drawings. Request for nursery review shall be received at least five days <br />prior to the desired review date. Contractor shall tag all trees and palms before <br />inspection. <br /> <br />2. Photographs or representative, individual samples to the satisfaction of the <br />Consultant, shall be submitted for review and acceptance of all other plant <br />materials. Samples of plants shall be submitted to the Consultant for review as <br />indicated on the plans, or as requested by Consultant. <br /> <br />3. Inspection certificates shall accompany the invoice of each shipment or order of <br />stock, as may be required by law for transportation. Upon completion of <br />installation deliver all certificates to Consultant. <br /> <br />4. Submit one quart sample of specified mulch and planting soil for review and <br />acceptance by Consultant. <br /> <br />1.05 MATERIAL HANDUNG <br /> <br />A. Delivery and Storage <br /> <br />1. Deliver all items to the site with all labels intact and legible at time of <br />Consultant's inspection. <br /> <br />2. Immediately remove from the site all materials which do not comply with the <br />provisions of this section of these specifications. <br /> <br />3. Use all means necessary to protect materials before, during and after installation <br />and to protect installed Work and materials of all other trades. <br /> <br />B. Replacements: In the event of damage or rejection, immediately make all repairs and <br />replacements necessary to the acceptance of Consultant at no additional cost to City. <br /> <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> <br />2.01 MISCELLANEOUS MATERIALS <br /> <br />A.
