He is an expert scheduler <br />and has experience working at Parking Facilities giving him <br />an edge with issues like phasing, planning for construction in <br />occupied sites and extensive knowledge of sub-contractors <br />and vendors. Gus, will be responsible for overseeing the <br />overall management of all construction activities for the proj- <br />ect, including but not limited to: Cost & Risk Management, <br />Schedule update, Sub-contractor & Vendor Billing, adequate <br />reporting to Owner and MCM Management, prepare requisi- <br />tion and schedules of values including updates to job cost <br />reports, coordination of Team Meetings to maintain clear <br />lines of communications. Highlights of Gus's Experience <br />include the Construction of Sunny Isles Beach Community <br />K-B Schools, which included the construction of a 4-story, <br />pre-cast parking garage, with 150 spaces. Additionally, he <br />also built GTI Central Collections Plaza for the Flamingo and <br />Dolphin Parking Garages, including significant modifications <br />to the existing garages at Miami International Airport. He <br />has built several parking garages for educational facilities <br />such as Coral Park Senior High School and Westland Hia- <br />leah Sf. High, which entailed the construction of a 4-story <br />cast-in-place garage with 150 spaces. A more detailed list <br />of projects can be found on Gus's Resume at the end of the <br />proposal. <br /> <br />Paul Bessell, Assistant Project Manager (PARKING) - <br />Paul has over 7 years experience working with clients such <br />as Miami International Airport, Miami-Dade County Public <br />Schools and more recently the City of Miami Beach. He has <br />experience building both parking garages and park & sports <br />facilities, so he is perfectly suited to assist in the supervision <br />of this project. A more detailed list of projects can be found <br />on Paul's Resume at the end of the proposal. <br /> <br /> <br />STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS <br /> <br />Brook Wolfe, Assistant Project Manager (PARK) - Brook <br />has over 6 years Civil construction experience. She just com- <br />pleted the construction of South Pointe Park, a $22 million <br />overhaul that resulted in a "state of the art" park for the City <br />of Miami Beach. Her involvement in this project and her ex- <br />pertise with environmental issues gives her an edge to over- <br />see the construction of Heritage Park. Brook will be respon- <br />sible for the overall management of all construction activities <br />related to the park, . A more detailed list of projects can be <br />found on Brook's Resume at the end of the proposal. <br /> <br />Bill McCue, Superintendent - Bill has over 33 years experi- <br />ence in construction, with a heavy emphasis on commercial <br />and educational facilities in South Florida. He has extensive <br />experience working at commercial, multi-story facilities such <br />as the Heritage Parking Garage, as well as acres of devel- <br />opment of sports fields and playgrounds for Miami-Dade <br />County Public Schools giving him an edge with issues that <br />this project can present during construction. Bill was the su- <br />perintendent in charge of the construction of the Jackson <br />Memorial's North Parking Garage, a 5 story pre-cast facility <br />very similar to the Heritage Parking Garage. A more de- <br />tailed list of projects can be found on Bill's Resume at the <br />end of the proposal. <br /> <br />1.5.6 TEAM ORGANIZATION & RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />In order to ensure the City the construction of the most cost- <br />effective project, MCM has teamed up with a group of of <br />specialists which will aide during the pre-construction and <br />construction phases to provide the best value to the City of <br />Sunny Isles Beach. <br /> <br />Florida Lemark, Structural Concrete Specialist (con- <br />struction) - was founded in 1987 and is family owned and g, <br />operated. They have been doing business in South Florida .3 <br />for 20 years. Florida Lemark's primary focus is commercial i <br />construction, specializing in the construction and renova- ~ <br />tion of parking garages. They strive to be the benchmark ~ <br />to concrete restoration, forming, and finishing and provide ~ <br />top quality work and service in a timely, effective, efficient, .f <br />innovative, and economic manner. MCM has been working ~ <br />with Florida Lemark for the past 15 years with excellent re- ~ <br />suits. As structural specialists, they will be responsible for .~ <br />assessing the current design and ensure constructability at ~ <br />the best price.
