(l " :t ~ .I) ') ~l l '"' On behalf of Pios and Sons Enterprises, Inc., please accept this Letter of Intent being submitted in response to the REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR PROFESSIONAL DESIGN AND BUILD SERVICES FOR A SKA TEBOARD PARK AT TOWN CENTER PARK to be located in the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. Pios & Sons Enterprises, Inc. is a minority-owned Florida Corporation established in 1989 . We provide General Engineering Contracting Services to public entities, institutions, and private sector clients. We have over 20 years of current continual successful experience as a general engineering contractor, specializing in infrastructure construction, underground utilities, site development, and concrete in Miami-Dade, Broward, Monroe, and Palm Beach Counties. Weare licensed as a General Engineering Contractor. Pios and Sons, in conjunction with SITE Design Group, Inc. providing the Skate Park Planning and Design, will not only build out an economically-feasible, aesthetically pleasing skate park, but one that is also environmentally sensitive to the surrounding neighborhood and nearby residences. SITE Design Group, Inc. is a consulting firm specializing in Community Planning, Design and Development, providing services throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. Their professionally recognized, award winning skate park designs located throughout the United States and abroad exemplify their unmatched ability to understand the complexities of public and private action sports development, regardless of location. Since the urban "skate plaza" replicates real street terrain, Pios and Sons Enterprises has been providing this style of construction for years at these popular types of "illegal skating venues". However, the concrete finish and attention to detail for the metal work, radii, degrees of ramps, etc. is often overlooked and is not built with skateboarding in mind. SITE Design Group's expertise plays a valuable role during the design phase of the project, in conjunction with our 20+ years of construction experience, to produce a successful collaborative effort to build the proposed skate park in the City of Sunny Isles Beach. This type of skate park construction is not necessarily a complicated concept in theory, however, the intricacies and level of detail warrants the quality of construction that Pios and Sons Enterprises has been providing for over two decades. Pi os and Sons Enterprises, Inc. will deliver a cohesive, focused effort over the course of the project to exceed the expectations of the City of Sunny Isles Beach with respect to the construction of the proposed skate park.
