<br />Summary Minutes: Regular City Commission Meeting December 14,2006 <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida <br /> <br />Mayor Edelcup clarified that these are distribution lines and not the high transmission lines <br />which will still be on poles throughout the City and will not be buried. Commissioner <br />Iglesias said that is correct, they are the major light concrete poles that are running 163rd <br />Street, those you can't underground because they are major distribution lines, but the little <br />brown poles will be eliminated. <br /> <br />Commissioner Iglesias moved and Vice Mayor Thaler seconded a motion to adopt the <br />ordinance. An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Entitled <br />"First Small Scale Amendment to the Future Land Use Map of the City of Sunny Isles <br />Beach Comprehensive Plan"; Providing for Transmittal to the Florida Department of <br />Community Affairs; Providing for Severability; Providing for Repealer; Providing for an <br />Effective Date. <br /> <br />(First Reading 11/16/06) <br /> <br />Action: City Clerk Hines read the title and Assistant City Manager Vera reported noting that <br />we are adding four new parcels to the map which are the parks located at 192nd Street and <br />Collins Avenue, in Golden Shores, the Town Center Park, and also the linear park that runs <br />the length from Town Center Park all the way to North Bay Road by Porto Bellagio. <br /> <br />Public Speakers: none <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Thaler moved and Commissioner Brezin seconded a motion to adopt the <br />ordinance.
