Summary Minutes: Regular City Commission Meeting April 19, 2007 City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida Providing for an Effective Date. Action: City Clerk Hines read the title and City Manager Szerlag reported. Mayor Edelcup said to come back with a report if the landscaping does not take hold. Public Speakers: none Commissioner Brezin moved and Commissioner Iglesias seconded a motion to approve the resolution. Resolution No. 2007-1075 was adopted by a voice vote of 4-0-1 (Commissioner Goodman absent) in favor. lOG. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Denvin~ a Request to Extend the Time Required to Obtain a Building Permit Pursuant to Zoning Application Submitted by Triumph Development, LLC., (The "Applicant"), (Z2004- 01), on the Property Located at 220 - 180 Drive, in Accordance with Section 265-ll (L) of the Land Development Regulations; Providing the City Manager with the Authority to Do All Things Necessary to Effectuate this Resolution; Providing for an Effective Date. Action: City Clerk Hines read the title and Assistant City Manager Jorge Vera reported noting that this application expired on March 22, 2007, and that there are no TDRs or bonuses. City Manager Szerlag noted that the administration has no recommendation on extensions, remaining neutral. Public Speakers: Ilya Shakhov Mayor Edelcup said that he would not be in favor of extending time over the expired date, and that the solution would be to just re-file their application. Vice Mayor Thaler moved and Commissioner Brezin seconded a motion to approve the resolution denying the request for an extension of time. Resolution No. 2007-1076 was adopted by a voice vote of 4-0-1 in favor. 10H. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Approving Installation and Maintenance Agreements with ADT Security Services, Inc., for the Heritage Park Facility and Sunny Isles Beach Government Center, in the Total Amount Not to Exceed $35,596.00, $ll,785.00, Attached Hereto as Exhibit "A" "B" and "C"; Authorizing the Mayor to Execute Said Agreement; Authorizing the City Manager to Do All Things Necessary to Effectuate the Terms of the Agreement; Providing for an Effective Date. Action: City Clerk Hines read the title and Information Technology Director Derrick Arias reported noting that this is amended to only go with the installation of new equipment. Public Speakers: none Mayor Edelcup said that we would only go with the installation of new equipment at the Heritage Park Facility as the maintenance is still in effect. He said we would go forth with Exhibit "A" only, in the amount of$ll,785.00. 7
