<br />Summary Minutes: Regular City Commission Meeting February 15, 2007 <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida <br /> <br />10L. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Approving <br />an Agreement with Fred L. Singer/Coronado Productions to Produce a Marketing <br />Video Promoting the City of Sunny Isles Beach as a Destination, in the Amount of <br />$24,500.00, Attached Hereto as Exhibit "A"; Authorizing the Mayor to Execute Said <br />Agreement; Authorizing the City Manager to Do All Things Necessary to Effectuate the <br />Terms of the Agreement; Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> <br />Action: City Clerk Hines read the title and Administrative Services Director Alyce Hanson <br />reported. <br /> <br />Public Speakers: none <br /> <br />Mayor Edelcup said to ensure when working on the video to bring in Ibis Romero of the <br />Sunny Isles Beach Resort Association, and Ms. Hanson said that they are working with her <br />on this. <br /> <br />Commissioner Brezin moved and Vice Mayor Thaler seconded a motion to approve the <br />resolution. Resolution No. 2007-1057 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. <br /> <br />10M A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Approving <br />an Agreement with E=MC2 for the Purchase and Installation of Emergency Transfer <br />Switches and Related Equipment for Certain Traffic Signals, in the Total Amount of <br />$57,l74.00, Attached Hereto as Exhibit "A"; Authorizing the Mayor to Execute Said <br />Agreement; Authorizing the City Manager to Do All Things Necessary to Effectuate this <br />Resolution; Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> <br />Action: City Clerk Hines read the title and Public Works Director Watts reported noting <br />that when Miami-Dade County offered this they came out and installed two switches at 1 74th <br />Street and 167th Street just to show us how it works. <br /> <br />Public Speakers: none <br /> <br />Mayor Edelcup asked if there would be one at the Gwen Margolis Park and Mr. Watts said <br />no, there are no lights there. He said these switches will be installed by the end of April or <br />the first of May, before hurricane season starts. Mayor Edelcup asked if this will include <br />every light that is currently on Collins A venue and Sunny Isles Boulevard, and Mr. Watts <br />said yes, we have l6 traffic lights in the City. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Thaler moved and Commissioner Brezin seconded a motion to approve the <br />resolution. Resolution No. 2007-1058 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. <br /> <br />17 <br />
