CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Edelcup at 5:35 p.m. (waited on Applicant), with <br />the following officials present: <br />Mayor Norman S. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Action: The Robert Solera Family led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />Mayor Edelcup gave opening remarks, and noted that we will hear Item 4A first. <br /> <br />3. ZONING: ZONING HEARINGS ARE QUASI-JUDICIAL PUBLIC HEARINGS. <br /> <br />3A. Request ofR.K. Associates (re: CVS Pharmacy Store), Owner of the Property Located <br />at 18290 Collins Avenue, for the Following: (Hearing #Z2008-06) <br /> <br />The Applicant proposes site plan approval for the construction of a CVS Pharmacy Store in the <br />northeast corner of the RK Shopping Plaza located at 18290 Collins A venue. The Applicant <br />will be increasing the footprint of the current building by 600 square feet. No additional parking <br />is required as the amount of space that was allocated for other uses have been reduced. <br /> <br />1. Pursuant to Section 265-18 of the City of Sunny Isles Beach Land Development <br />Regulations, the Applicant is requesting a site plan approval for the construction of a <br />new CVS Pharmacy Store on the northeast corner ofthe RK Shopping Plaza located <br />at 18290 Collins Avenue. <br /> <br />Action: [City Clerk's Note: This item was heard after Item 4A.] Mayor Edelcup gave <br />opening remarks on zoning procedures/decorum and City Clerk Hines read a disclaimer for <br />the Zoning hearing, and administered the oath to the witnesses for the Zoning hearing. <br />
