Mayor
Edelcup asked how $600 a month compares to boat slips in general, and Ms. Simpson said
Haulover charges $500 a month plus utilities, and we are going to include utilities at $600 a
month. Mayor Edelcup said he would prefer that we didn't include utilities and if we were
going to do it that we should have separate meters. Ms. Simpson said she will find out what
it would cost, we have three (3) meters there now; one is dedicated for Sir Winston.
Commissioner Scholl suggested putting in little power centers which have meters built into
them and they are read like a water meter, and estimated a cost of about $1,000 a piece. He
said no little boards, and Susan said that would be included in the agreement.

Vice Mayor Thaler said he would like a timeframe for improvements on the Park. Ms.
Simpson said that they just submitted a grant this week for funding, and we should have an
answer for that in September. Mayor Edelcup said we can take the summer months to figure
out the landscaping for the Park to answer the Vice Mayor's question, and at the same time
install separate meters, take 90 days, and have it available for the fall. He again suggested
separate meters and charge the same rental that Haulover is getting. Ms. Simpson clarified
that we want to stick to annual contract, we don't want to get into weekend rentals, etc., and
the Commission agreed. It was the consensus of the Commission that staff comes back at the
end of August with a Plan.

13.
