In accordance with Contract Documents, we the undersigned Subcontractor hereby guarantee that the work executed under our subcontract for the subject project, will be free from defects of material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from 8/11/2011 completion date or the period by Florida Statute 718.203(2), whichever is greater, from the date of the Certificate of Occupancy issued for the project and heceby agree to replace and make good such defects without expense to the Owner. The deteriorntion due to ordinary use and wear is expected and exempt from this Warnmty. It is clearly understood that where guarantees or wammties are written in any section of the specifications, provided for in the subconlract agreement, or provided for by a manufacturer, for a period of more than one (1) year, such longer terms shall apply. Nothing in the above shall be deemed to imply that this warranty shall apply to work which has been abused, or neglected by the Owner, or shows evidence of changes, or modifications by others with or without permit, damages caused by the acts of God, building settlement or moving, fire or vandalism.
