This is a separate item <br />for work not already covered by, and paid for through, other pertinent proposal <br />items. It is intended that this item shall cover call -outs for emergency and <br />unique situations. For this item to be accepted and paid for by the City, the <br />services must be specifically requested by the City for a specific task. <br />3.5 D. MATERIALS <br />D1. This proposal item is to include the supplying, delivery, placement, and grading of topsoil <br />in the locations designated by the City. This topsoil shall be a mix of 70% organics (peat <br />moss, etc.) and 30% sand. The supplying and placing of this item is separate and <br />unique from the normal need to supply and place this material as part of the ongoing <br />operations covered in other proposal items. For this item to be accepted and paid for by <br />the City, the service must be specifically requested by the City for a unique and specific <br />task. In areas of traffic, the proposal will include all appropriate traffic control devices <br />that conform to an approved Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plan. All traffic control costs <br />shall be a part of the unit price proposal and shall not be paid for separately. <br />D2 -D3.
