Mr. Alfonso is currently in charge of the company's Water Resources <br />Department. Mr. Alfonso has experience in developing storm water management system <br />for several municipalities, including the City of Miami Beach, City of Miami and the <br />Village of Biscayne Park. He has been also involved in obtaining environmental permits <br />associated with the proposed storm water management systems. Among his most <br />relevant projects are: Miami Intermodal Center (MIC) Drainage Master Plan, Nautilus <br />and Lummus Neighborhoods Drainage Master Plans, Nautilus Neighborhood Drainage <br />Improvements; SR-836 / N. W 14th Street Pump Station, Bridge Hydraulic Analysis of <br />the NW 12 Ave. bridge over the Miami River. He is currently a member of the Florida <br />Engineering Society (FES), and the Cuban-American Association of Civil Engineers (C- <br />AACE). <br /> <br />Key Projects: <br /> <br />Miami Intermodal Center (MIC) Stormwater Management Master Plan, <br />Miami-Dade County, FL. <br />Client: FDOT District VI (Gary Donn, P.E. 3054705145) <br />As Project Manager of the development a Stormwater Management Master Plan. The <br />MIC is a multimodal transportation facility, which link Metrorail, Amtrak, Tri-Rail, High <br />Speed Train and Metrobus. The total area of the project is 742 Acres, which includes <br />the SR 836/SR 112 Interconnector, Mic Core, Rental Car Facilities, MIC/MIA Connec- <br />tor and Baggage Tunnel. <br /> <br />Nautilus Neighborhood Drainage Master Plan, City of Miami Beach, Florida <br />Client: City of Miami Beach (Jose A. Perez, P.E. 3056737080) <br />The Nautilus Neighborhood includes all of the area from Arthur Godfrey Road on the <br />South, Biscayne Waterway on the East, Biscayne Bay on the West, and Surprise wa- <br />terway on the north. The total area of the project is 112 Acres. The proposed improve- <br />ments included 6 stormwater pump stations with 37 injection wells, new catch basins <br />and manholes new collection system with increase of the pipe diameters and 9 gravity <br />wells,. The improvements to the stormwater system are limited to the three priority <br />drainage basins (92, 97 & 99) identified in the City of Miami Beach Stormwater Man- <br />agement Master Plan. <br /> <br />Lummus Neighborhood Drainage Improvements, City of Miami Beach, Florida <br />Client: City of Miami Beach (Jose A.
