LAZARO FERRERO, P.E. PAGE 2/2

Drainage Analysis/Plans/Permitting

August 2008.

RENTAL CAR CENTER (RCC), DADE COUNTY, FL.
Client: FDOT District VI (Gary Donn, Project Manager (305) 470-
5145). Design Engineer on civil plans, which included paving, grad-
ing and drainage, domestic and fire water mains and the sanitary
system design, following the M-D WASD and FDOT drainage man-
ual requirements. The total area of the project is 30 Acres. Design
started in January 2002 and ended in December 2004,

WATER AND SEWER IMPROVEMENTS FOR PERRINE CUT-
LER RIDGE, MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL
Client: M-D WASD (Reynaldo Abreu (786) 552-8161). As Project
Engineer, Mr. Ferrero was responsible for the design of 14,000 LF
of 12-in WM, 2,700 LF of 16-in WM. Project consists of three
Basins: one where Pump Station 751 is being replaced, the second
where a new pump station will be created, and third where Pump
Station 531 will be upgraded. As well as 31,550 LF of various sized
force mains are to be designed. Design started in July 2007 and is
on-going.

SR-826/SR 836 INTERCHANGE, MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL.
Client: FOOT District VI (AIi Toghiani, P.E. (305) 470-5343). As Proj-
ect Engineer, Mr. Ferrero is responsible for Quality Assurance and
Quality Control of the proposed stormwater management system.
This project includes more than 600 drainage structures that will
serve one of the biggest and most important interchanges in Miami-
Dade County. Design started in January 2007 and is on-going.

WASHINGTON AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS PHASES II, IV & V .
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA
Client: City of Miami Beach (Charles Carreno, P.E., Project Man-
ager (305) 532-9292). Prepare construction documents (plans and
specifications) for the following improvements: milling & resurfac-
ing, new gravity drainage wells, sanitary sewer capacity improve-
ments which consist of pipe/manhole up-sizing, The proposed
improvements include new catch basins, new collection systems

and 28 gravity wells that will work in addition to the existing system
with several interconnects that will maximize treatment and flood at-
tenuation. Also responsible for the office administration construction
progress activities related to the construction of this right-of-way
improvement project.

SR-997/ KROME AVENUE FROM US.1 TO AVOCADO DRIVE /
SW 296TH STREET, MIAMI.DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA
Client: FOOT District VI (David Mendez, Project Manager (305)
470-5207). Within the project limits, SR 997 / Krome Avenue is a
two lane roadway from SR 5/US-1 to SW 328th St /Lucy Street. The
length of the project is approximately 1.9 miles. Krome Avenue is
the "main street" for Florida City and City of Homestead. It con-
nects the rural Redland area and rural western Miami-Dade County
with commercial resources both to the south and to the east. The
proposed project includes the reconstruction of the existing two
lane roadway into five lane sections with a continuous two way left
turn lane, curb and gutter, sidewalks and bike lane. The proposed
improvements also involve the installation of a new drainage sys-
tem, sidewalks, bicycle lane, and aesthetic and landscape treat-
ments. Design started March 2004 and ended in December 2005.

SR-5 (US-1) /BISCAYNE BOULEVARD, FROM NE 15TH STREET
TO NE 35TH TERRACE, MIAMI.DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA
Client: FDOT District VI/ Keith & Schnars, PA (Carlos Alcantara,
P.E. (305) 477-7667). The proposed improvements in this section
consist of installing new curb inlets that will be connected to a new
storm sewer system. The proposed drainage system is divided in
15 systems with a total area of 29 Acres. A stormwater pump sta-
tion is proposed for System 1 with 5 injections wells because ex-
isting grade elevations do not allow the use of gravity wells. From
System 2 to 15, a total of 29 gravity wells will work in addition to the
existing system with several interconnects that will maximize treat-
ment and flooding attenuation.

CIVIL ENGINEERING SERVICES TO DESIGN STREET AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS .
