<br />Signing adn Pavement Marking
<br />
<br />from FEC Railroad to NE 2nd Avenue. The project included
<br />roadway reconstruction, new drainage, sidewalk, curb and gutter,
<br />new lighting, bycicle lane, signing and pavement markings,
<br />landscaping, and a new 12" water main. Project scope also
<br />included the Milling and Resurfacing of South Miami Avenue from
<br />1-395 to NW 15th Street. Scope of work also involved utility
<br />coordination, preparing cost estimates, obtaining all permits
<br />including DERM, Miami-Dade County Public Works, Department
<br />of Health, and City of Miami Public Works. Special attention was
<br />given to the Maintenance of Traffic to maintain property accessto
<br />business and pedestrians all the time.

<br />DOWNTOWN STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS
<br />Client: City of Miami.(David Mendez, P.E., Project Manager (305)
<br />416-1240). Engineer of Record / Project Manager for the
<br />preparation of Contract Plans and Specifications for the Downtown
<br />Streetscape Improvements. Project limits were: NW / NE 1 st, 2nd,
<br />and 3rd Street from SW 1stAve. to SR 5/ Biscayne Blvd.; SW / SE
<br />1 st and 2nd Street from SW 1 st Ave. to SR 5/ Biscayne Blvd; and
<br />SW 1 stAve, Miami Ave, NE 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Avenue from SW / SE
<br />2nd Street to NW / NE 3rd Street. Project included Milling and
<br />Resurfacing, new colored sidewalk, decorative lighting system,
<br />street furniture, stamped asphalt pedestrian crosswalks, signing
<br />and pavement marking. Utility Coordination was a major milestone
<br />in this project, especially with FPL for the upgrade of the lighting
<br />system.

<br />BISCAYNE BOULEVARD RECONSTRUCTION
<br />Client: City of Miami (Kevin A. Brown, P.E" (305) 416-1090). Design
<br />Start/Finish Date: June, 2005/ February, 2006 Engineer of Record/
<br />Project Manager for the preparation of Contract Plans and
<br />Specifications of the reconstruction of SR-5 / Biscayne Boulevard
<br />from NE 14th Street to NE 15th Street. The project also included
<br />sidewalk, curb and gutter, new drainage, lighting, landscaping,
<br />signing and pavement markings, and signalization. This
<br />improvement was an emergency reconstruction of the Biscayne
<br />
<br />segment funded by FDOT due the grand opening of the new
<br />Performance Art Center (PAC). Scope of service also involved utility
<br />coordination, specifications, construction cost estimates and
<br />obtaining all related permits (DERM), FDOT, City of Miami Public
<br />Works, and Miami Dade County Public Works.

<br />N.W. 37TH AVENUE
<br />Client: M-D PWD. (Raul Quintela, P.E., Project Manager (305) 375-
<br />3971). Senior Project Manager / Engineer of Record for the
<br />preparation of Contract Plans of the total roadway reconstruction of
<br />a 2.72 mi segment of NW 37th Avenue from NW N. River Drive to
<br />NW 79th Street. Project includes new drainage, signalization,
<br />lighting, signing and pavement marking design and compliance
<br />with ADA requirements. Special emphasis was given to the Traffic
<br />Control Plans to provide pedestrian access to local businesses and
<br />major relocation coordination with Florida Power and Light and
<br />Florida City Gas.

<br />WASHINGTON AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS PHASES II, IV & V
<br />Client: City of Miami Beach (Charles Carreno, P.E., Project Man-
<br />ager (305) 532-9292). Senior Project Engineer in charge to
<br />prepare construction documents (plans and specifications) for the
<br />following improvements: milling & resurfacing, new gravity drainage
<br />wells, sanitary sewer capacity improvements which consist of
<br />pipe/manhole up-sizing, water main upgrades, relocation of water
<br />meters/meter boxes, new decorative lighting system, landscape
<br />and irrigation upgrades, replacement of curb & gutter and sidewalk
<br />from 11th St. to 16th St., design of intersection bumps-outs,
<br />compliance with ADA requirements, modification of parking space
<br />layout, relocation of existing utilities, coordination with the CMB
<br />Parking Department to remove and reinstall parking meter heads
<br />and parking signs, & signature median improvements from 5th St.
<br />to 6th St., between 16th to Lincoln Rd. and along Lincoln Rd from
<br />Washington Ave to Collins Ave.
