Manis, P.E., LEED AP <br />QA/QC <br /> <br />Professional Qualification <br /> <br />Mr. Manis has more than 32 years of experience in the Project <br />Management & Engineering fields. He has managed and supervised <br />numerous projects related to civil engineering, master planning, <br />environmental engineering, water, and wastewater treatment. Mr. <br />Manis has active experience in the oversight and direct delivery of <br />design, permitting, cost preparation, and reporting of projects he has <br />managed. <br /> <br />Project Experience <br /> <br />South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) Design Review <br />Project, Florida - Design QA/QC <br />Mr. Manis served on a Design Review Team that assisted the SFWMD in <br />reviewing all aspects of construction documents for ongoing design <br />projects. The Review Team ensured the documents aligned with <br />SFWMD Design Standards and best industry practices. Under this <br />contract, Mr. Manis has personally reviewed, analyzed, and critiqued <br />design packages for major water control pump stations, minor pump <br />stations, storage and treatment areas (ST As), and various other <br />projects. <br /> <br />Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (MDWASD) High-Level <br />Disinfection UPGRADE to the South District Waste Water Treatment Plant <br />(SDWWTP), Miami, Florida - QA/QC <br />Mr. Manis provided quality control review of the conceptual and <br />preliminary design identifying the scope and extent of the <br />improvements necessary to fully segregate the NWWF flows from the <br />flows of the other MDW ASD source waters that are conveyed to the <br />Hialeah and Preston Water Treatment Plants. Scope of services <br />included evaluating existing facilities at Hialeah and Preston WTP in <br />terms of Energy Efficiency; developing alternatives to convey the <br />processed water from the NWWF facilities to the existing Preston WTP <br />Reservoirs; and assessing the Hialeah-Preston Reservoir piping <br />interconnection. <br /> <br />Aetna Building Parking Modifications, Jacksonville, Florida - Project <br />Manager <br />Mr. Manis worked on design and permitting for the demolition of an <br />existing parking lot and construction of a reconfigured parking lot. His <br />responsibilities included utilities relocation, stormwater management, <br />and driveway connections. <br /> <br />Orthodox Christian Mission Center Administration Building, St. Johns <br />County, Florida - Civil Engineer <br />Mr. Manis assisted in master planning and obtaining a Master <br />Development Plan approval from St. Johns County for the 20-acre site, <br />which included associated parking, access roads, site grading, a <br />storm-water management system, and water and wastewater utilities. <br />He procured the Environmental Resource/Stormwater Permit, Florida <br />DOT Utility Permit, and Florida DEP Water and Sanitary Sewer Systems <br />Permit. <br /> <br />www.cesconsult.com <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach Continuing Professional Architectural & Engineering Services RFQ 12-04-02 I 24 <br />
