Bieler, P .E. <br />Civil Engineer / Contract Administrator <br /> <br />Professional Qualification <br /> <br />Mr. Bieler is a Professional Engineer with 8 years of experience in the <br />areas of Civil Engineering, Transportation, Water Resources, and <br />Project Management. He provides a unique input in the development <br />of projects with a mix of academic and professional experience in <br />transportation and water resources; has actively been involved in the <br />geometric design of major and minor highways following local and <br />federal standards; and has extensive experience in implementing <br />hydrodynamic models for managing and designing storm water <br />systems. <br /> <br />Project Experience <br /> <br />Miami-Dade County Water and Sewer Department (MDWASD) Country <br />Walk Drive 8" Force Main Project, Miami, Florida - Project Engineer <br />Mr. Bieler was responsible for the design of a 1900' - 8" Force Main <br />along Country Walk Drive. He was in charge of all pipe and fitting <br />designs following MDWASD standards; completing CADD productivity; <br />MOT plans; utility coordination; writing specifications; and assisting the <br />client (MDWASD) during the bid and construction processes. <br /> <br />Miami-Dade County Water and Sewer Department (MDWASD) Hialeah- <br />Preston GWUDI Upgrades to WTP and NW Wellfields, Miami, Florida - <br />Designer <br />Mr. Bieler was part of the Design team that prepared a conceptual <br />and preliminary design identifying the scope and extent of the <br />improvements necessary to fully segregate the NWWF flows from the <br />flows of the other MDWASD source waters that were being conveyed <br />to the existing Hialeah and Preston Water Treatment Plants. He <br />designed more than 4 miles of yard piping ranging from 12" to 96" for <br />the new proposed NWWF Water Treatment facility. <br /> <br />SW 27th Ave from US-, to Bayshore Drive, Miami-Dade County, Florida <br />- Drainage Engineer <br />Mr. Bieler provided engineering analysis and design services for an <br />enclosed storm water drainage system along SW 27th A venue <br />between South Dixie Highway and South Bayshore Drive. The project <br />consisted of widening this stretch of roadway measuring <br />approximately 0.75 miles. <br /> <br />lorida Department of Transportation (FDOT) 1-75 Expansion Studies, <br />District 4, Broward County, Florida - Designer <br />Mr. Bieler worked on a project involving the analysis of different <br />alternatives to make 1-75 a transportation corridor that included the <br />widening and reconstruction of the existing roadway surface and <br />inclusion of a mass transportation element such as a light Rail Transit <br />(LRT) or Bus Rapid Transit [BRT) within its Right of Way (ROW). The <br />proposal included a preliminary analysis of the existing drainage <br />conditions and a study of the improvements required.
