Hines, City Clerk <br />REQUEST: <br />This project was initially presented to the City Commission on October 19, 2006, the <br />project was unanimously approved under Resolution 06 -Z -104; the present submission is <br />basically the same design with some minor modifications in order to be in compliance <br />with new City and Fire Department requirements. The Applicant is re- applying for site <br />plan approval for a proposed development consisting of two twenty -story towers on a <br />garage /residential unit pedestal base with a total of 230 units. Additionally, the Applicant <br />proposes an enclosed commercial marina building with 96 enclosed dry storage spaces, <br />36 wet slips and an area for seven (7) boats in dry storage staging. The Applicant is also <br />requesting approval to utilize 83,490 square feet and 46 units of Transfer Development <br />Rights (TDRs) privately owned by the Applicant. Finally, the Applicant is requesting the <br />use of graphics and murals on a temporary construction fence. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff has no objections to the applicant's request. The application is generally consistent <br />with the City Comprehensive Plan and with the City Land Development Regulations. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Zoning Hearing Notice <br />Development Review Report <br />Application (including Letter of Intent) <br />Site and Landscape Plans <br />
