Sections of the system may be tested separately. It shall be distinctly understood <br /> that any defect which may subsequently develop in section already tested and <br /> accepted shall promptly be corrected and that section retested. <br /> J. Disposal of the water used for testing shall be subject to the approval of the <br /> Engineer. <br /> 1.04 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> A. The organization which performs the testing shall, prior to testing, provide their <br /> qualifications and demonstrate their ability to perform the services to the <br /> satisfaction of the Engineer. <br /> 1.05 SUBMITTALS <br /> A. Preliminary <br /> 1. Submit three copies of documentation to confirm compliance with Quality <br /> Assurance provisions: <br /> a. Organization supervisor and personnel training and qualifications. <br /> b. Specimen copy of each of the report forms proposed for use. <br /> B. At least fifteen days prior to Contractor's request for final inspection, submit three <br /> copies of final reports on applicable reporting forms, for review. <br /> 1. Each individual final reporting form must bear the signature of the person <br /> who recorded data and that of the supervisor of the reporting organization. <br /> 2. Identify instruments of all types which were used and last date of <br /> calibration of each. <br /> 1.06 JOB CONDITIONS <br /> A. Prior to start of testing of piping systems, verify that required "Job Conditions" are <br /> met: <br /> 1. System or system element installation is complete. <br /> 2. All required materials, water, instruments, etc. are on hand. <br /> 3. All other preparations are completed. <br /> 1.07 TESTING PROCEDURES <br /> A. Domestic and Small Diameter Process Systems Test: Not Used. <br /> B. Interior Drainage System: Not Used. <br /> C. Underground Sewer System: Not Used. <br /> D. Exterior and Interior Piping Systems: <br /> 1. Exterior and interior piping shall pass a hydrostatic pressure test and a <br /> leakage test as defined below before acceptance.
