SECTION 02610 <br /> PIPE AND FITTINGS <br /> PART 1 — GENERAL <br /> The work under this section of the specifications shall include the furnishing and installation of <br /> all materials needed for the piping systems as shown on the drawings. <br /> 1.01 WORK INCLUDED <br /> A. In general, the work under this section shall include, but is not limited to, <br /> furnishing and installing: <br /> 1. All necessary pipe fittings, restraint system and appurtenances as <br /> detailed. <br /> B. The work shall also include the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, <br /> lights, transportation, and performing all operations necessary for the proper <br /> placement of pipe, fittings and valves in accordance with the specifications, as <br /> shown on the drawings, and directed by the Engineer. <br /> 1.02 RELATED WORK <br /> A. Section 01340: Shop Drawings, Product Data and Samples <br /> 1.03 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> A. Where local building and/or plumbing code conflict with the use of any material, <br /> pipe or type of fitting and/or where the local code is more restrictive or specific <br /> than this specification, the material, pipe or type of fittings producing a better <br /> quality or greater quality product and not prohibited by the code shall be utilized. <br /> B. Supplier shall provide manufacturer's certificates for all materials indicating <br /> conformance to these specifications. <br /> C. Supplier shall also provide certification that all testing/inspection required by this <br /> specification and referenced standards have been made on all pipe and fittings <br /> shipped and that they meet the required specifications.
