Monday, June 30, 2014 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Addendum No. <br /> <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />Emergency Debris Clearing and Removal Operations <br />CITY BID NO. 14-06-02 <br /> <br />To All Bidders: <br /> <br />Bidders for the above-referenced project shall take note of the following changes, <br />additions, deletions, clarifications, etc. to the Plans and Specifications, which in <br />accordance with the Contract Documents shall become a part of and have precedence <br />over anything shown or described otherwise. <br /> <br /> Reponses to questions: <br /> <br />Line Item 2: reads <br />All Vegetation debris from Public rights-of-way, to include hangers and leaners stump <br />removal, aerial hazard mitigation, TDSR site management, separate & reduce debris by <br />grinding, load and transport processed/ground debris to final disposal ) to include <br />tipping fees. (0-25 miles) Cubic Yard. <br /> <br />Tipping Fees are pass through Items and cannot be included in the Cubic Yard pricing . <br /> <br />This has been addressed in the RFP. Quote with tipping fees included from 0-25 <br />miles. <br /> <br />Line Item 3: reads <br />Construction and Demolition debris from the Public right-of-way, including white goods <br />and electrical waste to final disposal) to include tipping fees. (0-25 miles) <br />Again tipping fees are a pass through item. <br /> <br />This has been addressed in the RFP. Quote w ith tipping fees included from 0-25 <br />miles. <br /> <br />Line Item 4:reads <br />Transporting processed all debris to final disposal (>25 miles) Mile <br /> <br />The unit measurement need to be per cubic yard mile. Reason: a contract could use a <br />15 cubic yard truck for final disposal and charge the City by the mile. When, if you had <br />an average of 80 cubic yard truck per mile a lot more will be haul ed at one time. This <br />will save money on final disposal. There need to be a maximum mileage to final
