7 Base bid Garage and driving surface <br />Ramp and level 2 and 3 and 4 Remove existing sealant at joints in slab to <br />slab, slab to expansion joint, slab to wall and other joints necessary to <br />provide a seal to prevent water from penetrating joints. Use Tremco <br />Dymeric 240 two part urethane sealer or equivalent <br /> <br />Remove parking lines using pressure cleaning. Prep existing coated areas <br />using solvent wipe and prime with Tremco vulkem tremco 191 or compatible <br />primer install Vulkem 350NF/346/346 according to manufacturer’s <br />specifications, Medium and Heavy Duty Traffic Coating System. <br /> <br />At high traffic areas including driveways, turns and ramps apply second <br />coat of vulkem 346 with sand. <br /> <br />Expansion joints <br />Remove and replace expansion joint at third floor parking deck <br /> <br />Install new trough floor drain in front of stairway entrance on second floor of <br />parking garage one location NTE 3 feet long. Connect to existing drain <br />system include cast iron pipe and all hangers, fasteners, connections and <br />drains. NTE 25 feet of connecting pipe. <br /> <br />Remove and replace existing trough drains in front of the stair way doors 2 <br />locations, stair #4 and # 5 on 4th floor of parking garage, include drain, <br />caulking and NTE 3 feet of BIP to match existing. <br />included <br />8 Base bid Sprinkler head and escutcheon replacement <br /> <br />Remove and replace existing fire sprinkler heads and escutcheons on open <br />atrium areas around the commission chambers and in front of library and <br />other spaces on the south side outside of office areas (first floor only) and <br />over pre-cast stairs on east end of building. New sprinklers and escutcheons <br />to be corrosion resistant, designed for outdoor use. Contractor to re-use <br />existing risers, fittings and pipe. <br /> <br />Repair of hidden pipe and fittings, and exposed pipe that is not identified <br />here-in not included <br /> <br />Include NTE 15 sprinkler heads and escutcheons <br />included <br />9 Base bid Door hardware, Repaint doors <br /> <br />Repair rusted exterior metal doors and hardware on rear of commission <br />chambers and other locations throughout garage and government center <br />Remove rust from hardware or replace with SST hinges as may be required. <br /> <br />Paint All previously painted exterior hollow metal doors including all stair <br />doors in garage painted 2 sides, prime with rust neutralizing primer and <br />paint to match original door. <br /> <br />included <br />10 Base bid Camera housing <br /> <br />Remove and replace corroded camera housing with corrosion resistant <br />housing suitable for exterior application in coastal exposure.
