E. In the event of interruption to domestic water, sewer, storm drain or other utility <br />services as a result of accidental breakage due to construction operations, <br />promptly notify the owner of the utility and cooperate with the owner in <br />restoration of service as promptly as possible and bear costs of repair. <br /> <br />1. In no event shall interruption of utility service be allowed outside working <br />hours unless granted by the owner of the utility. <br />F. With prior approval by owner of utility and at CONTRACTOR’s expense <br />interfering water service lines may be cut, dug through and restored with similar <br />approved materials. <br /> <br />G. Replace other existing utilities or structures removed or damaged during <br />construction, at CONTRACTOR’s expense, unless otherwise provided for in the <br />Contract Documents. <br /> <br />1.10 INTERFERING STRUCTURES <br /> <br />A. Take necessary precautions to prevent damage to existing structures whether <br />on the surface, above ground, or underground. <br /> <br />1. An attempt has been made to show major structures in the Drawings. <br /> <br />2. While the information has been compiled from the best available sources, its <br />completeness and accuracy cannot be guaranteed, and it is presented as a <br />guide to avoid possible difficulties. <br /> <br />B. Protect existing structures from damage, whether or not they lie within the limits <br />of the easements obtained by the OWNER. <br /> <br />1. Where existing fences, gates, barns, sheds, buildings, or other structure <br />must be removed to properly carry out the work or are damaged during the <br />work, they shall be restored at the CONTRACTOR's expense to their <br />original condition and to the satisfaction of the property owner. <br /> <br />C. Without additional compensation and subject to the owner’s approval, the <br />CONTRACTOR may remove and replace, in a condition as good as or better <br />than original, small structures such as fences, mailboxes, and signposts that <br />interfere with the CONTRACTOR's operations. <br /> <br />1.11 FIELD RELOCATIONS <br /> <br />A. Relocations shall be made only by direction of the ENGINEER and OWNER. <br /> <br />B.
