<br />Commencement of Contract Time: <br /> <br /> 2.5 The Contract Time will commence to run on the date stated in the Notice to <br />Proceed. <br /> <br />Starting the Project: <br /> <br /> 2.6 CONTRACTOR shall start to perform his obligations under the Contract <br />Documents on the date when the Contract Time commences to run. No Work <br />shall be done at the site prior to the date on which the Contract Time commences <br />to run, except with the written consent of the OWNER. <br /> <br />Before Starting Construction: <br /> <br /> 2.7 Before undertaking each part of the Work, CONTRACTOR shall carefully <br />study and compare the Contract Documents and check and verify pertinent figures <br />shown thereon and all applicable field measurements. He shall at once report in <br />writing to ENGINEER any conflict, error, or discrepancy which he may discover; <br />however, he shall not be liable to OWNER, or ENGINEER for his failure to <br />discover any conflict, error, or discrepancy in the Drawings or Specifications. <br /> <br />Schedule of Completion: <br /> <br /> 2.8 Within ten days after delivery of the Notice to Proceed by OWNER to <br />CONTRACTOR, CONTRACTOR shall submit to ENGINEER for approval, an <br />estimated progress schedule with earnings indicating the starting and completion <br />dates of the various stages of the Work, and a preliminary schedule of Shop <br />Drawing submissions. See paragraph 6.23. The ENGINEER shall approve this <br />schedule or require revisions thereto within 14 days of its submittal. <br /> <br /> If there is more than one CONTRACTOR involved in a Project the responsibility for <br />coordinating the Work of all CONTRACTORS shall be as provided in the Special <br />Conditions and Contract Documents. <br /> <br />Preconstruction Conference: <br /> <br /> 2.9 Within twenty days after delivery of the executed Agreement by OWNER to <br />CONTRACTOR, but before starting the Work at the site, a preconstruction <br />conference will be held to review the above schedules, to establish procedures for <br />handling Shop Drawings and other submissions, and for processing Applications <br />for Payment, and to establish a working understanding between the parties as to <br />the Project.
