| Page 2 <br />experience in numerical modeling of the physical processes that challenge all manner of waterfront projects in these settings. <br />We offer the City access to the latest technologies and the industry’s leading practitioners, solving complex problems using <br />state-of-the-art technologies, but with a practical approach that has been developed over decades of experience on constructed <br />projects. The firm employees over 90 coastal engineers, which is one of the largest in the U.S. for coastal engineering. Recent <br />projects include beach nourishment and inlet projects, coastal shore protection structures, flood protection and other climate <br />change/resiliency planning/mitigation projects, complex FDEP CCCL permitting projects and flood code compliance consulting. <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach Experience: M&N and their subconsultants have demonstrated project experience in the City, <br />and key staff have worked on local projects including the Residences by Armani/Casa project with beach fill component that is <br />scheduled to start construction next week, the Jade Signature project FDEP CCCL permitting and beach fill project (with a prior <br />firm), and numerous other coastal projects. M&N has an in-depth understanding of beach management in the City based on <br />staff experience working on oceanfront projects over the past 20 years, including recent truck haul beach nourishment projects <br />and CCCL permitting projects. <br />Capability to Perform Work: If selected, M&N is willing to meet any project location, with no limitation on budget amount (large <br />or small) or task orders. While the firm currently has a strong backlog of work, it is at the same time sufficiently staffed with <br />qualified personnel of all types that will be required to perform the work associated with contracts/task orders resulting from this <br />RFQ within the required time frame. Projects will be managed out of the Miami office, with production support out of other M&N <br />offices, as appropriate. <br />Firm Licensure and Representations: M&N will warrant that at all times during the term of the Agreement we shall maintain in <br />good standing all required licenses, certifications and permits required under federal, state and local laws necessary to perform <br />the services.
