She has extensive experience in the <br />design and implementation of monitoring programs for marine resources, including long‐term programs for natural and <br />artificial reefs, implementation of coral restoration and relocation programs, seagrass habitat assessments and marine <br />wetland delineation. Ms. Buck is responsible for the complete management of biological monitoring projects from pre‐ <br />permit application coordination through final report and compliance deliverables. <br />Stacy Buck has over 17 years of experience in biological and environmental science, the last 14 of which have focused on <br />coastal and marine biology in south Florida. Ms. Buck began her career in marine biology in south Florida working on the <br />Broward County Segment III SPP in 2004. She has conducted over 750 scientific dives in Broward County in direct support <br />of the County’s shore protection projects. This intense and extensive experience provided Ms. Buck with a thorough <br />understanding of the County’s nearshore hardbottom habitat, the importance and sensitivity of this resource and how it <br />is affected by construction activities. <br />19. She mapped the hardbottom edge to document shifts in sand <br />movement adjacent to the project area and also monitored the Segment III artificial reef deployed as mitigation to <br />anticipated impacts to the nearshore hardbottom to assess ecological function over time. Led the data analysis and <br />production of permit‐required annual report production. <br />
