A high‐resolution geophysical survey was conducted in areas close enough <br />to Sand Key to optimize construction costs, but far enough offshore to avoid shoreline impacts, with the final survey <br />areas defined in close consultation with Pinellas County and the USACE. He assisted with geotechnical analysis of the New Pass ebb shoal borrow area and pre and post‐ <br />construction physical surveys required to support the 2009 Beach Nourishment Project. Recently, Mr. <br />Andrews directed all survey and geotechnical investigations for the Port Dolphin Beneficial Use Project including <br />seismic reflection profiles, sidescan sonar imagery and magnetometer surveys and vibracores and has conducted in <br />the field and sediment evaluations and borrow area design from the office. In addition to geotechnical studies to <br />locate and evaluate sediment sources he has directed physical monitoring, bathymetric and hydrographic, for all <br />Manatee County projects since 1989. <br />
