City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida   <br />Marine and Coastal Professional Engineering Consulting Services (CCNA) | RFQ No. 18‐02‐01  <br />  <br />  <br />Aptim Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc.  <br />32  <br />01C032018D  <br />  <br />d.  <br />(1) TITLE AND LOCATION (City and State) (2) YEAR COMPLETED  <br />Miami‐Dade Public Works Julia Tuttle Survey; Miami‐Dade, Florida PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONSTRUCTION (If  <br />applicable)  <br />2014  N/A  <br />BRIEF DESCRIPTION (Brief scope, size, cost, etc.) AND SPECIFIC ROLE   Check if project performed with current firm  <br />Surveyor ‐ Miami‐Dade Public Works contracted with APTIM to provide a hydrographic survey of the navigation  <br />channel along the Julia Tuttle Causeway. APTIM used RTK GPS to conduct survey control reconnaissance before field  <br />activities began. We combined single‐beam sonar data with RTK GPS and heave, pitch and roll data to produce high  <br />accuracy soundings of the navigation channel. APTIM reduced and presented all data on a final survey map. We  <br />performed all work under the direct supervision of a Florida Registered Surveyor and Mapper. Mr. Walker was  <br />responsible for taking tide measurements using RTK GPS system as well as hydrographic survey data acquisition  <br />using RTK, Motion Compensator, and Digital Echo Sounder.  <br />  <br />
