City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida   <br />Marine and Coastal Professional Engineering Consulting Services (CCNA) | RFQ No. 18‐02‐01  <br />  <br />  <br />Aptim Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc.  <br />52  <br />01C032018D  <br />  <br />  <br />Texas Coastal Resiliency Study limits  <br />  <br />SLOSH model results in Massachusetts  <br />The Texas Resiliency project contained more than 3,000 datasets that were compiled into a single geodatabase. APTIM  <br />developed a method to combine multiple hazards that allowed for quantification of vulnerability for each system. We  <br />pushed the data online so that stakeholders can view the data and analyze the results. We developed custom tools that  <br />produced reports for each identified system that was susceptible to climate change and those reports could be printed  <br />by the stakeholders to assist with their planning duties.  <br />APTIM has been assisting the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) with their LiDAR and regional sediment management  <br />(RSM) programs. For the LiDAR projects, we developed custom tools using Python within ArcGIS that extract metrics like  <br />shorelines and quantifies volume change which provides coastal managers with accurate data for coastal management  <br />planning. For RSM, we use Python to generate custom tools that ingest various USACE datasets to produce a national  <br />summary that indicates how sediments are being disposed for all of their inlet dredging projects. The RSM database is  <br />pushed online so that USACE District managers can review the results and provide additional information to improve  <br />the geodatabase.
