The modern civic wellness center will include rooms <br />for high and low impact exercise, weightlifting and strength training, a spin ro om and a large interior gymnasium <br />with bleachers. A large component of any modern gym, rooms for child care and youth activities have been <br />provided for three different age groups: young children, youth and teen. The completed bridge serves as the replacement for a 1938 <br />structure and spans 2,400 feet over the Intracoastal Waterway. Working in collaboration with the lead engineering <br />consultant, CSAA provided architectural design services to FDOT for a PD&E study. Under Jess’s direction, the firm <br />met with the community to determine location of new bridge, height and the architectural style of the bridge. Delivered through a <br />Design/Build contract, CSAA’s services included design, construction documents and permitting for this <br />oceanfront parking structure. Delight and wonder was the design intent, providing 662 new parking <br />spaces in a mixed use garage of 239,400 square feet.
