City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida   <br />Marine and Coastal Professional Engineering Consulting Services (CCNA) | RFQ No. 18‐02‐01  <br />  <br />  <br />Aptim Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc.  <br />44  <br />01C032018D  <br />  <br />As local sponsor for the project, the City has assisted the USACE by providing engineering, geotechnical,  <br />benthic investigation and permit application services provided by APTIM including contributions to the  <br />Feasibility Study, modeling study and project development. The City and the USACE have held public  <br />meetings including the NEPA scoping meetings to initiate the NEPA process. Once Lido Key has been  <br />restored using USACE funding, FEMA funding will not apply to future projects, however, the project will  <br />now be eligible for federal funding for storm damage repair through the USACE FCCE funds.  <br />
