Regular City Commission Meeting April 13,2000 Ciry of Sunny Isles Beach,Florida <br /> Vera recommended deferral until May 18,2000 due to an error in the wording of the public <br /> notice. Vice Mayor Morrow moved and Commissioner Kauffman seconded a motion to <br /> defer the public hearing until May 18, 2000. The motion was approved by a voice vote <br /> of 5-0 in favor. <br /> 6B. REQUEST OF D.P. COLONIAL LLC, OWNER OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br /> 18101 COLLINS AVENUE, FOR THE FOLLOWING: <br /> (Public Hearing #Z99-22) <br /> 1. Modification of Condition IC of Resolution 93-Z-9 passed and adopted by the City <br /> Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach on the 28t day of May, 1993,reading as <br /> follows: <br /> From IC: That in the approval of the plan, the same be substantially in accordance <br /> with that submitted for hearing entitled "Colonial Inn" prepared by Sieger <br /> Architectural partnership sheets 1-26 dated 3/6/93 and sheet IA dated <br /> 3/17/98 and plans entitled "Colonial Inn Schematic Landscape Plan" <br /> prepared by Bradshaw, Gill & Associates dated 3/5/98 with appropriate <br /> reductions in F.A.R. <br /> To: Plans entitled Sonesta - Ocean Grande II, prepared by The Sieger Suarez <br /> Architectural Partnership consisting of 61 sheets dated 2/14/2000,and plans <br /> entitled Ocean Grande-Sonesta Hotel/Condo F.A.R. calculations, prepared <br /> by The Sieger Suarez Architectural Partnership consisting of23 sheets dated <br /> 2/14/2000 and plans entitled Landscape Architecture, prepared by The <br /> Sieger Suarez Architectural Partnership consisting of 7 sheets dated <br /> 2/14/2000. <br /> The purpose of this request is to allow the applicant to modify the previously <br /> approved plan to show tandem. <br /> 2. Non Use Variance of Parking Regulations to permit 50% of the parking spaces to be <br /> tandem (20% permitted to be tandem). <br /> Protests 1 Waivers 0 Ex-Parte 0 <br /> ACTION: City Clerk Brown-Morilla read the applicant's name, hearing number, and <br /> location. Peter Weiner requested deferral to a date uncertain. City Clerk Brown-Morilla <br /> asked if the applicant would pay for all costs of re-noticing the project and Peter Weiner said <br /> yes. Vice Mayor Morrow moved and Commissioner Iglesias seconded a motion to defer <br /> the public hearing to an uncertain future date. The motion was approved by a voice <br /> vote of 5-0 in favor. <br /> 3 <br />
