• Statement of Work City of Sunny Isles Beach Proposed Privacy North of 192 St From Intracoastal Waterway to Heritage Park Background The City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, (the'City')a municipality located in Miami-Dade County,Florida, has selected RJ Behar&Company, Inc. to provide Civil/Environmental Engineering, professional services. The City now wishes to have a design for the construction of a privacy wall, approximately 1,191 feet, starling at the water's edge of the Intracoastal Waterway and ending at the south-east corner of Heritage Park. See attached Figure 1. Work Objective The objective of this Statement of Work is to provide design services for the development of the privacy wall plans. The services have been separated into the following tasks: 1-PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. ($28.531.001 This phase has been divided into the following tasks: 1.1 Field Trips$ 1,222.00 R J Behar shall conduct one field visit in order to better familiarize staff with the location of existing facilities as well as site specific constraints due consideration during the conceptual planning of the proposed improvements. 1.2 Data Collection $1,044.00 Review plans, ROW information, and completeness of the survey information,collect all available'as-built' plans for existing systems within the project area. 1.3 Engineering Design Analysis$7,163.00 R J Behar shall conduct a design analysis and computations for the wall to include the following: Site Design—From our preliminary field observations we will determine the layout of the privacy wall with respect to the existing ROW lines and utilities. Structural Analysis—The structural analysis is based on a cast-in-place retaining wall designed to meet the Florida Building Code.
