Project include d undergrounding of <br />overhead electrical, telephone, and cable within 2.1 miles along Collins Avenue (A1A). Significant <br />coordination required between FP&L, low voltage utilities and FDOT requirements. Understanding of <br />technical requirements and restrictions of both FDOT and utilities required to deal with the physical <br />limitations of constructing within the right-of-way. <br />City of Fort Lauderdale, Undergrounding of Utilities Continuing Services, Fort Lauderdale, Florida <br />In 2009, the City awarded the general services contract to assist in facilitating the undergrounding of <br />utilities within neighborhood through special assessment.
