Broward County Neighborhood Improvement Projects, Broward County - Four individual neighborhood
improvement projects ranging from 900 to 1600 acres each. Prepare models to identify areas of
inadequate fire protection, sewer collection, and drainage. Utilize models to design upgrades to water,
force main, lift stations, and drainage. Improvements include re-grading of roadways and landscaping.
Traffic Calming at the Intersections of 123rd Street & NW 1st Court, 123rd Street & Miami Court, NW 139th
Terrace & NW 5th Court | North Miami, Florida | Project Lead - The project involved the development of
speeds.
Port Everglades Utilities Analysis, Broward County, Florida
Collect data and create model for use in analyzing network of public lift -stations and force mains. Model
utilized for analysis of existing capacities as well as adaptability of individual lift stations and force mains
for future expansion. Compiled list of alternatives for remediation of inadequate service levels and
proposed recommendations for short term and long-term solutions based upon performance, cost, and
constructability.
