<br />Mr. Balbis has provided Geotechnical Engineering services to the Port of Palm Beach since the 1980's. He was the foundation
<br />engineer for the Cruise Terminal presenting recommendations for the support of that building on shallow foundations, which
<br />resulted in significant savings to the Port. He was also involved in remediation work for the sinkhole condition that developed in
<br />Pier #3 in the 1980's, the extension of Pier #2 in the 1990's, the foundations for molasses tanks, and other projects.

<br />Garage, Jupiter Library Expansion, and various roadway improvements projects that include paving, pipeline installation and

<br />Services included environmental assessments, geotechnical explorations and foundation design. This complex housed
<br />commercial and residential property, as well as the Palm Beach County Convention Center. Mr. Balbis was senior project
<br />manager and managed a team of threshold inspectors. Fees: $250,000.
