BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (include scope size, and cost)
During the 2004 to 2006 timeframe, the Highland Dunes (now known as Arden) site was stripped of surface vegetation and pockets
of organic material. In areas with minor amounts of organic soils which did not require removal, a large disc -harrow was used to blend
the slightly organic soils into the underlying sands. The site was then hydraulically filled with sandy material obtained from the nearby
L-8 reservoir. In general, the fill material consisted of sand, shell and Iimerock with a maximum particle size of 6 inches and not more
than 10% fines. Water and any suspended fines from the dredging operations were conveyed back to the dredging site through a
series of ditches. The Arden site was filled to an approximate elevation of +22 feet (NAVD 88). In 2015 and 2016, mass grading
efforts were completed to prepare the site for single-family residential use; approximately 2,000 lots.
Ardaman conducted subsurface explorations and geotechnical engineering services during the design phase of the project and is
providing quality control testing with regards to the site preparation and Threshold Inspection services.
Approximate Fees; $300,000
25.
