BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (include scope size, and cost) <br />Ardaman has been providing geotechnical engineering and testing services to the Florida Power & Light (FPL) for many years, both <br />as prime consultants and subconsultant to contractors and design engineers. We have provided expertise on general improvement <br />projects at their headquarters in Juno Beach as well as improvement projects and new construction projects throughout Florida. <br />Services have included the performance of subsurface explorations using wide variety of drilling rigs from typical truck -mounted <br />equipment to barge applications. Geotechnical engineering services have included recommendations with regards to general soil <br />improvement techniques as well as more specialized deep soil improvement techniques such as Vibroflotation, Vibrocompaction and <br />Deep Dynamic Compaction. Deep foundation (augercast and drilled -shaft) design recommendations have also been provided for a <br />wide range of projects.
