BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Indude stype, sim and cost) <br />The Villages is a master -planned age -restricted retirement community located mainly in Sumter County, Florida, United States, but also <br />includes portions of Lake and Marion counties. The community is controlled by several Community Development Districts (CDD's). The <br />overall development lies in central Florida, approximately 20 miles (32 km) south of Ocala and approximately 45 miles (72 km) northwest <br />of Orlando. <br />Bailey Engineering Consultants, Inc (BEC) has completed the electrical, instrumentation and HVAC design of the 2 MGD Wastewater <br />Treatment and Reclamation Facilities plant located in Lake County, the 3.0 MGD plant located in Sumter County and the 3.5 MGD plant <br />located in Sumter County These facilities provide reclaimed water to all of the Villages golf courses. <br />Bailey Engineering Consultants, Inc (BEC) was also responsible for the electrical, instrumentation and HVAC design of the seven (7) <br />Water treatment facilities, the three (3) Elevated storage tanks, the four (4) Ground storage tanks and associated high service pumps and <br />eleven (11) Irrigation pumping facilities which in mm provide central irrigation water for The Villages residents and commercial <br />properties utilizing storm water and Lower Floridian Water. <br />Services Provided: <br />• Electrical Engineering <br />• Instrumentation and Controls <br />• Client Interface <br />�Gm;m Rral d°1 <br />• Multi -discipline Coordination <br />lot <br />m 27 <br />Estimated Cost: <br />Tne Vlaapea <br />• $28 Million <br />Completion Date: <br />TJ <br />0, (.
