Florida, Amending Ordinance No. 2012 -391: Amending the City's Budget for the 2012 -2013 Fiscal Year — General Fund, Building Fund, Streets Fund, 2010 Capital Projects Fund, Stormwater Fund, and Capital Improvement Projects Fund: Authorizing the City Manager to Do All Things Necessary to Implement the Tetras and Conditions of this Ordinance: Providing for an Effective Date. (First Reading 02/21/13) Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and Finance Director Minal Shah reported noting the most significant adjustments include the recognition of the $2.9 Million surplus in the General Fund of which $2 Million will be transferred to the Capital Projects Fund. The other significant adjustment is an increase to the Fishing Pier Project of about $1 Million. Public Speakers: None Commissioner Scholl moved and Vice Mayor Aelion seconded a motion to adopt the ordinance on second reading. Repealing Ordinance No. 2005 -227 regarding Early Voting: Providing for Repealer: Providing for Severability; Providing for Inclusion in the Code: Providing for an Effective Date. (First Reading 02/21/13) Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and City Attorney Ottinot reported that this Ordinance allows the City to hold early voting during the elections. Also the Commission had agreed to use City Hall as an early voting site.
