An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach. Florida, Amending <br />Ordinance No. 2012 -391: Amending the City's Budget for the 2012 -2013 Fiscal Year — <br />General Fund, Building Fund, Streets Fund, 2010 Capital Projects Fund, Stormwater <br />Fund, and Capital Improvement Projects Fund: Authorizing the City Manager to Do All <br />Things Necessary to Implement the Tetras and Conditions of this Ordinance: Providing for <br />an Effective Date. <br />(First Reading 02/21/13) <br />Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and Finance Director Minal Shah reported noting the <br />most significant adjustments include the recognition of the $2.9 Million surplus in the <br />General Fund of which $2 Million will be transferred to the Capital Projects Fund. The other <br />significant adjustment is an increase to the Fishing Pier Project of about $1 Million. <br />Public Speakers: None <br />Commissioner Scholl moved and Vice Mayor Aelion seconded a motion to adopt the <br />ordinance on second reading. Repealing <br />Ordinance No. 2005 -227 regarding Early Voting: Providing for Repealer: Providing for <br />Severability; Providing for Inclusion in the Code: Providing for an Effective Date. <br />(First Reading 02/21/13) <br />Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and City Attorney Ottinot reported that this <br />Ordinance allows the City to hold early voting during the elections. Also the Commission <br />had agreed to use City Hall as an early voting site. <br />
