See Item SD for additional <br />action.] City Clerk Hines read the title. and City Attorney Ottinot reported. City Clerk <br />Hines noted the Elections Department gave us the date of Tuesday. June 4, 2013 to hold the <br />Special Election. <br />Public Speakers: Lewis J. Thaler; <br />After discussion, it was the consensus of the Commission to approve the proposed <br />amendments and to hold the Special Election on Tuesday, June 4, 2013. Mayor Edelcup said <br />he felt that the Mayor is in a better position to appoint the Chairperson to a committee but if <br />that is the desire of the Commission he won't hold an objection to it. <br />Commissioner Scholl moved and Commissioner Gatto seconded a motion to approve the <br />proposed ordinance on first reading. The motion was approved by a roll call vote of 5- <br />0 in favor.
