Edelcup <br />Vice Mayor Isaac Aelion <br />Commissioner Jeanette Gatto <br />Commissioner Jennifer Levin <br />Commissioner George "Bud" Scholl <br />City Manager Christopher J. Russo <br />City Attorney Hans Ottinot <br />City Clerk Jane A. Hines, MMC <br />Deputy City Manager Stan Morris <br />Deputy City Attorney Fernando Amuchastegui <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Action: Dennis Stubbolo led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br />Mayor Edelcup gave opening remarks, and noted that Item 4A which was an Add -On is now <br />being deferred because the City Manager would like to put it on the October 16, 2014 agenda. <br />Commissioner Scholl moved and Vice Mayor Aelion seconded a motion to defer Item 4A. <br />The motion was approved by a voice vote of 5 -0, in favor. <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON THE i\IILLAGE RATE AND BUDGET <br />3A. Millage Resolution (Public Hearing) <br />A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach of Miami -Dade. <br />County, Florida, Establishing the City of Sunny Isles Beach Ad Valorem Tax Millage <br />Levy Rate at 2.6000 Mills per One Thousand Dollars ($1,000) of Taxable Assessed Value <br />Which is 9.77% More than the "Rolled Back' Rate of 2.3686 Mills. for Fiscal Year <br />2014/2015; Providing for an Effective Date. <br />(First Hearing September 11, 2014) <br />Action: [City Clerk's Note: Heard with Item 3B.] City Clerk Hines read the title, and City <br />Manager Russo reported. <br />Public Speakers: None <br />Commissioner Scholl moved and Vice Mayor Aelion seconded a motion to approve the <br />resolution. Resolution No. 2014 -2306 was adopted by a voice vote of 5 -0 in favor, at <br />5:35 p.m. <br />
