We had a series of
Workshops that took place this summer where we went over the detail of the individual items
that make up our budget; the process that determines where the budget lands. Also at that
point we typically look at what our projected revenue is going to be and we set the millage
rate. This is the fourth year in a row that we have lowered the millage rate because our
property values keep going up which has been a good thing and there has just not been a
reason to collect a certain amount of money commencing with the property values. And so we
shrunk our millage rate again by a tenth of a percent.
PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MILLAGE RATE AND BUDGET
3A.
