Do not give rides to hitchhikers or strangers. Drivers are not allowed to transport anyone that is not a TGSV <br />Enterprises, Inc. employee, in company vehicles and while employee is not company time (punched out, after <br />or before work). Exemptions are to be approved by the company Vice President. <br /> <br />H. Seat belts are required to be worn by drivers and all passengers at all times while in a company vehicle. <br /> <br />I. Check your vehicle and or equipment daily before each use or trip, and check the vehicle and /or equipment <br />visually each time before driving or using it. Check lights, tires, brakes, and steering in particular. An unsafe <br />vehicle or equipment cannot be operated until repairs are made. Report all “Out Of Se rvice” conditions to your <br />Supervisor. <br /> <br />J. Drivers must report all accidents immediately, as required by law and the company rules. <br /> <br />K. Drivers must report all arrests and traffic convictions to the company. Repeated traffic convictions, or failure to <br />report traffic accidents or convictions, may result in disciplinary action. <br /> <br />L. Other safe driving rules adopted by our company, prescribed by State or Local Laws or by the applicable <br />D.O.T. Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, must be adhered to. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Physical Requirements: If you have a known physical limitation, such as diabetes, impaired eyesight or hearing, <br />trouble with your back, heart or hernia, aversions to height, and the like; notify your immediate supervisor so that you <br />will not be required to do work that might injure you or someone else around you. <br /> <br />Safety Inspections by State or Federal Inspectors: OSHA has inspectors called Compliance Safety and Health <br />Officers (OSHOs). They are experienced professionals whose goal is to help employers and worker s reduce on-the- <br />job hazards. If an inspector visits your work site, ask to see the inspector’s identification and notify your Location <br />Manager or Superintendent and the Safety Department immediately at 305-479-7971. If you are asked, answer the <br />inspector’s questions and cooperate with the inspector. <br /> <br />Visitors: Visitors are not allowed on work sites without permissions from management. All visitors must be escorted <br />while at the job site or while on company property. All visitors MUST wear appropriate personal protective equipment <br />and obey all safety rules and warnings. <br /> <br />Safety Signs and Warnings: All sin and warnings must be followed without questions. Never remove a safety sign, <br />signal, barricade, tag, or tape unless authorized by management to do so. No employee shall remove, displace, <br />damage, destroy, or carry of, any safety device, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, or any other safeguard furnished or <br />provided for use on the job site by the company. Personal belongings are excluded. <br /> <br />Horseplay: Practical joking on the job may or may not get you hurt or injured, but it will get you fired. Practical joking, <br />use of foul language and horseplay are prohibited during working hours at a TGSV jobsite. Running on the job is <br />allowed only in extreme emergencies. <br />
