<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach |Request for Qualifications No. 20-07-01 24 <br /> <br />Based on the information contained in the Preliminary Design documents, submit a revised <br />estimate of Total Construction Cost, and any adjustment to Total Project Cost known to <br />Consultant. <br /> <br />Furnish Preliminary Design documents to and review them with the City within the <br />stipulated period indicated in the Request for Quotation and Proposal. <br /> <br />For the purpose of payment to the Consultant, services under the Preliminary Design <br />Phase will be considered complete when the Preliminary Design documents have been <br />accepted by the City as complete. <br /> <br />Final Design/Construction Documents Phase <br /> <br />If the Project involves construction or demolition, the Consultant shall prepare, standard <br />approved Preliminary Designs, modifications, estimated Construction Cost, Construction <br />Documents consisting of working drawings and specifications setting forth in detail the <br />work required for the architectural, civil, transportation, structural, mechanical, electrical, <br />site, and other work, and the necessary bidding information, general conditions, <br />supplementary conditions and proposal forms. The Consultant shall submit to the City ten <br />copies of the Construction Documents, and a further revised Estimate of Total <br />Construction Cost. <br /> <br />Prior to final approval of the Construction Documents by the CITY, the Consultant shall <br />conduct a preliminary check of any Work products to insure compliance with requirements <br />of any County, City, State, or Federal agency from which a permit or other approval is <br />required. Consultant shall prepare all support documents to accompany any necessary <br />permit applications. Consultant shall respond to all technical questions from regulatory <br />agencies. CONSULTANT shall modify" at no additional cost to the CITY, Construction <br />Documents in order to acquire the necessary permits. <br /> <br />The CONSULTANT shall signify their responsibility for the Construction Documents <br />prepared pursuant to this AGREEMENT by affixing his signature, date and seal thereto as <br />required by Chapters 471 and 481, Florida Statutes. If requested, Consultant shall review <br />and analyze the bids received by the CITY, and shall make a recommendation for award <br />based on the CITY'S Purchasing Ordinance. <br /> <br />Should any component of the design or report not meet applicable regulations or codes <br />in effect at the time of completion of design, the Consultant shall redesign with no <br />additional cost to the CITY. <br />
