Resume
Maser Consulting
R. WYATT ALTMAN, PSM
Project Surveyor – Remote Sensing/Terrestrial & Mobile
LiDAR

EXPERIENCE

Mr. Altman is a registered project surveyor with extensive and
diversified expertise that includes digital imaging and mapping,
geodesy, GIS, GPS, photogrammetry, land tenure and cadastral
studies, LiDAR, and remote sensing techniques. He has performed
hydrographic, ALTA, full topographic, and boundary surveys; sub-
surface utility locating; and construction layout. He also has expertise
performing data processing using AutoCAD, CAice, Trimble Business
Center, GeoPAK and Starnet.

PROJECTS

Crystal River Airport Runway 9-27 Safety Improvements
City of Crystal River, Citrus County, FL
Crew Chief for an obstruction survey and topographic survey for the
Crystal River Airport Runway 9-27 rehabilitation project. The
topographic survey included the taxiway, runway, and surrounding
areas. A merged data set including Aerial LiDAR, Mobile LiDAR, and
traditional data collection was used to create the topographic survey.
Within two days, our professionals were able to classify the point cloud
and identify approximately 1,200 trees that needed to be trimmed or
removed in the obstruction survey limits. This would have taken weeks
if done with conventional methods. Riegl LiDAR systems and Trimble
Digital levels, GPS, and Robotic Total Stations were also utilized
during this project.

UAS Lidar for Bush Highway
Maricopa County DOT, Maricopa County, AZ
UAS lidar and photogrammetric topographic mapping for Bush
Highway corridor. Delivery of lidar point cloud and topographic
mapping for 5 miles of Bush Highway for construction documentation.
Delivery of photo-based point cloud reconstruction and ortho mosaic
for a 1-mile segment.

Wauchula Airport PAPI Survey
Wauchula Municipal Airport, Wauchula, FL
UAS lidar mapping for an obstruction survey update. Delivery of a
digital surface model derived from the lidar point cloud.

Unmanned Aerial System Mapping of Thurlow Dam
City of Tallassee, Elmore County, AL
Dam and structural UAS inspection utilizing 20-megapixel
georeferenced imagery and 4k video. Also provided survey control,
scanning, imagery, and full data extraction. Our civil 3D drawing
deliverable was certified to one-inch accuracy for “hard points” (man
made improvements) and six inches for natural surfaces. The data
extraction included full planimetric detail and a digital terrain model
(DTM) produced in Civil 3D.

EDUCATION

B.S.
