RFQ NO. 20-07-01 – CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES (CCNA) <br />SURVEYING AND MAPPING SERVICES / GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES <br />Maser Consulting <br />Our management staff carefully allocates the firm’s resources to address the constantly shifting market <br />demand for projects. We promote a management philosophy that supports the cross training our staff to <br />make them available to the various disciplines that need to respond to the active market sectors. This <br />enables Maser Consulting to maintain optimum utilization of highly trained individuals who provide <br />resources to meet aggressive project schedules. This approach has enabled us to maintain a steady <br />stream of projects, while providing flexibility to allocate resources as necessary to immediately respond <br />to new project requests. <br />QUALITY ASSURANCE / QUALITY CONTROL: Maser Consulting is committed to <br />taking responsibility for the quality of all our deliverables and we understand <br />that quality control is the job of the consultant, not the City. Quality Assurance <br />and Quality Control (QA/QC) reviews are essential components of our <br />workflow. Our QA/QC process is redundant in nature, having a minimum of two <br />reviewers for every project. As depicted in the diagram to the right, each <br />reviewer follows a strict order of process which involves a thorough back‐ <br />checking of all documentation. Data quality issues anywhere in the process will <br />be investigated and resolved prior to finalizing the deliverable product. Final <br />deliverable formatting will be consistent and a workplan will be developed <br />containing a checklist of items specific to the project. <br />We have a strict policy to establish, commit to, implement, and monitor a <br />QA/QC program for every project, ensuring quality deliverables for our clients. <br />This QA/QC program is continually monitored to maximize its success and to <br />identify possible improvements. Each Maser Consulting employee is a part of <br />this QA/QC program. Their use of carefully managed processes, guidelines, <br />and state-of-the-art tools is conducive to the creation of products and services <br />which meet defined client requirements. <br />The Maser Consulting QA/QC program applies to all our disciplines and office <br />locations. Throughout the organization, each Department Manager is <br />responsible for the following: <br />•Communicating the firm’s QA/QC policy to employees <br />•Developing quality plans and reviews <br />•Implementing a quality management system to consistently achieve superior services <br />•Monitoring and continually improving the level of client satisfaction <br />•Providing mentoring and training to develop and continually improve employee performance <br />The Maser Consulting QA/QC Program manual is distributed to all Project Managers, Department <br />Managers, Division Directors, and Executives of the firm. The manual is designed to help Project <br />Managers implement practices for effective project management and incorporates department-specific <br />guidelines as they are developed. <br />Section D, Page 2
