RFQ NO. 20-07-01 – CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES (CCNA) <br />SURVEYING AND MAPPING SERVICES / GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES <br />Maser Consulting <br />Maintenance of Traffic (IMOT) certifications as well as OSHA 10‐hour, OSHA 30‐hour, OSHA HazWOPER, <br />coalition for construction safety (CCS), E‐Rail Safe, and first aid/CPR training. Additionally, we utilize <br />Operator Qualification programs through Veriforce to provide safety training and OQ certification for our <br />staff to work in and around gas/petroleum facilities. <br />INNOVATIVE CONCEPTS <br />Survey and Mapping (including GIS and SUE) and Geotechnical markets are very competitive with <br />multiple professional firms qualified to perform the services outlined in this RFQ. What sets Maser <br />Consulting apart is our focus on best practices that can add value beyond the traditional scope and <br />conventional approach to these services. We believe it is our responsibility to review all potential solutions <br />or methods when approaching an assignment, to ultimately increase efficiency and more effectively utilize <br />the funds allocated for this contract. <br />Maser Consulting invests heavily in technology where we see a benefit to production and client service. <br />We make a point to stay ahead of the curve, not only on technology, but industry trends, new equipment <br />and novel workflows to bring added value to all our clients. Effectively leveraging these technologies <br />affords our clients options to reduce contract costs, increase efficiency and improve product quality, as <br />well as more effectively managing the project and communication. All these pieces contribute to the <br />delivery of our projects, safely, on time and within budget. <br />Communication in the COVID-19 Environment: Maser Consulting proactively took steps early in the <br />pandemic to ensure our staff had the flexibility and technology infrastructure to promote an efficient <br />remote working environment. We significantly upgraded our office infrastructure to continue operations <br />from our respective home offices, including hardwire VPN’s, video conferencing cameras, <br />“GoToMeeting” hosting licenses and Microsoft Teams. Our daily internal meetings help ensure our <br />ability to meet schedules and service for our clients. Communication with City staff and our subconsultant <br />can occur seamlessly under this contract. By utilizing these tools Maser has continued to be successful <br />in providing quality customer service to our clients. <br />Surveying and Mapping Services: The proper collection, processing, data extraction and the fusion of <br />subsurface utilities, ground survey and LiDAR data is one of our strongest skillsets. Our well-established <br />workflows help ensure successful initial capture and/or provide quality review of remote sensing data and <br />have been proven successful on many major interstate and infrastructure projects, with benefits on <br />smaller scale projects as well. <br />Our technical staff is one of the largest users of TopoDOT software for LiDAR mapping/extraction in the <br />country. We are a leader in Terrestrial Mobile LiDAR applications with 2 units performing on a wide variety <br />of transportation projects (including roadways, rail and airports) nationwide. Our diverse experience <br />provides innovative approaches, and we are committed to adding new and efficient methodologies, <br />technologies, and processes to bring significant value for our clients. <br />Through experience gained while providing NextGen Plans, Automated Machine Guidance (AMG) and <br />Augmented Reality (AR) 3D-model program support for FDOT, Maser Consulting brings unparalleled <br />experience in data interoperability support for maintaining data governance throughout the life cycle of <br />Section D, Page 8
