RFQ NO. 20-07-01 – CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES (CCNA) <br />SURVEYING AND MAPPING SERVICES / GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES <br />Maser Consulting <br />Surveying and Mapping Services <br />From the beginning the firm has had a strong focus on <br />conventional surveying and mapping, and most recently <br />leveraging technology to reduce project costs and increase the <br />quality of our deliverables. Our survey professionals have the <br />expertise to achieve highly accurate results while maintaining <br />quality control. Whether the project calls for conventional <br />surveying methods, cutting-edge geospatial scanning techniques <br />or a combination of both, our professionally licensed land <br />surveyors, highly trained office technicians and field crews work <br />seamlessly together to provide responsive and consistent <br />professional survey services. <br />Maser Consulting provides a complete suite of traditional Land Surveying and Mapping services as well <br />as Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE), including designating, locating and Ground Penetrating Radar <br />(GPR); Geographic Information Services (GIS), including spatial database design and maintenance, <br />cartographic support, and GIS analysis; Asset Inventory Services, including transportation asset <br />collection, stormwater asset collection, and asset conditioning; Mobile LiDAR; Terrestrial LiDAR; and UAV <br />LiDAR with high resolution digital imagery. Maser Consulting and key staff members have provided similar <br />professional services for multiple organizations in Florida. Maser Consulting is actively working with <br />municipal and state agencies on current design projects. <br />Geotechnical Services <br />Maser Consulting offers informative solutions for geotechnical engineering applications. We bring more <br />than 30 years of geophysical service and investigation experience providing efficient, comprehensive <br />service for any environment. Our geotechnical staff is composed of licensed professional engineers and <br />geologists throughout the Eastern Seaboard. In-house equipment available for use with this contract from <br />Maser includes nuclear density testing gauges, a full-service geotechnical laboratory, and geophysical <br />testing methods including GPR, electrical resistivity, etc. Maser currently partners with multiple drilling <br />providers across the state which project and cost efficiencies, which assures equipment availability. Over <br />15 drilling/cone rigs are available for use on this contract that includes standard truck mounted, mudbug <br />all-terrain vehicle mounted, limited access track mounted, amphibious mounted, and barge mounted <br />platforms. On-site drilling operations are overseen full time in the field by a representative of Maser. <br />Services available to be provided for this contract include: <br />•Site Characterization <br />o Subsurface exploration <br />o Forensic Site Geotechnical Evaluations (including significant coastal experience) <br />o Geophysical surveys <br />o Geologic hazard evaluation <br />o Field & Laboratory testing <br />o Groundwater observations and hydrogeologic modeling <br />•Design <br />o Pavement design <br />o Roadway cross sections <br />Section E, Page 2
