RFQ NO. 20-07-01 – CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES (CCNA) <br />SURVEYING AND MAPPING SERVICES / GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES <br />Maser Consulting <br />design to complex utility exploration, we are currently providing surveying and geotechnical services <br />identical to those anticipated for this contract corridors under the following relevant contracts: <br />•City of Miami Miscellaneous Surveying and Mapping Services <br />•City of Miami Beach, Professional Architectural & Engineering Services in Specialized Categories <br />•Miami-Dade County, General Land and Engineering Surveying Services <br />•City of Tampa Work Order Agreements for Professional Services d <br />•City of Plant City, Transportation Engineering Services <br />•Port Tampa Bay General Engineering Consultant Contract <br />•Hillsborough County Miscellaneous Professional Engineering Services for Geomatics <br />•Manatee County BCC, Unmanned Aircraft Systems Drone Services <br />•Pinellas County, Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Services and CE&I Consultant Services <br />•FDOT District 6, General Engineering Consultant (GEC) Services <br />•FDOT District 6, Miscellaneous Location Survey Consultant <br />•FDOT District 6, Districtwide ROW Mapping Services <br />•FDOT District 4, Continuing Services for Surveying, Mapping and SUE Services <br />Current Workload and Availability of Personnel <br />Maser Consulting will manage this contract from our Miami office located just 23 miles from the City of <br />Sunny isles Beach Administrative Offices. All work will be coordinated and performed from this location. <br />At present, our team in Miami has the capability and availability with current workload/backlog to provide <br />over 50% of their time to the City of Sunny Isles Beach under this contract. <br />Our leadership team in the Miami office manages weekly utilization meetings with all key staff for the <br />purpose of evaluating daily workload projections for the week ahead. Following this meeting is a <br />Southeast based operations meeting discussing the same item and uses this as a gauge for filling gaps <br />where staff is needed. Having these weekly operations meetings provides project managers the ability to <br />forecast project completion dates and be able to rely on this information to keep projects on schedule. <br />For your contract, we will provide not only the resources from our Miami office, the dedicated office for <br />your project, but we will also have access to the company’s four (4) additional Florida offices located in <br />Delray Beach, Tampa, Orlando and Jacksonville, along with the resources within the balance of our offices <br />throughout the US. Maser Consulting’s management staff carefully allocates the firm’s resources to <br />address the constantly shifting market demand for projects. We promote a management philosophy that <br />supports cross training our staff to prepare them to be available on short notice for variety of potential <br />survey, SUE, or geotechnical tasks. This enables Maser Consulting to maintain optimum utilization of <br />highly trained individuals and provide resources for “Fast-Track” project completion. This approach has <br />enabled us to maintain a steady stream of projects while also ensuring we have adequate resources for <br />immediate response to all task assignments from the City. <br />Local Permitting Experience <br />Maser Consulting has experience working with municipalities and the requirements necessary to perform <br />work within their cities. Permitting for us is a check box on our “to-do” list. We make sure our Project <br />Managers and staff are familiar with the process, procedure and availability of resources a City has <br />Section E, Page 4
