RFQ NO. 20-07-01 – CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES (CCNA)
SURVEYING AND MAPPING SERVICES / GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES
Maser Consulting
invested to streamline the application, approval and close out of any and all required permitting. Public
Works permit applications and Engineering reviews may be some of the items we will need for upcoming
assignments, therefore our staff will utilize the online service as much as possible for any requests we
may need that include utility marking, as-built surveys, jurisdictional areas or Geotechnical work.
As we all adjust to the new normal, we are aware that walk-in service is no longer available. If an in-person
permitting application is necessary, we will make an appointment and adhere to all social distancing and
any additional policies the City has established. Maser Consulting understands that permitting and review
by a City’s agents is a necessary process to ensure that all parties are following the criteria that has been
agreed upon by the City allowing consultants to perform work within their boundaries. The permit process
provides a better understanding of the improvements and construction activities associated with each
project on a day-to-day basis. Maser Consulting understands and respects the permitting process and
looks forward to working with the City staff to incorporate these permit requirements into each project’s
workflow.
Performance Records and Additional References
Please refer to SF-330 later in this section as well as Section F – Firm References and Similar Work
Completed for documentation of our past performance records as well as additional references from our
clients.
Ability to Complete Projects on Schedule and within Budget
Maser Consulting Team continues to support multiple FDOT and local authority contracts with a similar
scope and expectations as the City’s Continuing Professional Consulting Services contract. Our key staff
have acted as lead surveyors on multiple similar contracts for Surveying and SUE services and we are
confident this experience and established working relationship will be of benefit to the City. Below is a list
of projects and contracts we feel have significant parallels to this specific contract that are representative
of our ability to complete project on schedule and within budget.
Pinellas County – Countywide UAS and Land Survey Services Contract
Task Work Orders 2 & 3: Baypointe Golf Course
Client: Pinellas County Office of Technology and Innovation Department
Contract Period: 04/2020 – 07/2020
Initial and Final Budget: $84,420.00
Brief Description of Services Provided:
Under this Countywide professional
services contract for UAS and Land Survey
services, Maser Consulting was tasked to
support Pinellas County as they assessed
and designed improvements to convert the
Baypointe Golf Course into a multi-use
pedestrian facility and stormwater
retention area. The initial assignment
included complete documentation of the
40-acre site using high resolution drone-
Section E, Page 5
