F-5Proven solutions
Responsive and dependable performance
City of Sunny Isles Beach RFQ No. 20-07-01: Continuing Professional Consulting Services (CCNA)
Other Firms
The skills and experience of our team members fulfill the full
range of expertise required to complete the specific types of
projects CES performs. The CES Team of subconsultants is
composed primarily of local SBE firms, all well-qualified and
positioned to develop cost-effective and sustainable solutions
to improve service to City-served residents and businesses.
The CES Team has a comprehensive understanding of this
contract type, a keen awareness of local issues, extensive
relevant professional services experience, and project
management and design strategies that are focused on
enhancing project delivery —ahead of schedule and under
budget. The CES Team offers the City of Sunny Isles Beach
the best talent in the industry, a strong local team, and a
tremendous depth of Florida experience and resources.
Both individually and collectively, the CES Team provides
responsive project execution, innovative strategies, and a
collaborative team environment. The CES Team is organized
to provide the City with a straight-forward management
structure, offering a single point of responsibility and
representing all required disciplines, specifically designed
to meet the challenges facing the City of Sunny Isles Beach
Utility Department.
CES has an established record of providing quality engineering
services since its organization in 2001. In addition to our
extensive multi-faceted water, wastewater and reclaimed water
engineering project experience, we also have demonstrated
capabilities and project experience managing the field survey,
structural, geotechnical, electrical and mechanical supporting
services necessary for seamless project implementation.
Each CES Team subconsultant has utility infrastructure design
and construction management experience. For an assigned
Task Order, each subconsultant is given a specific scope,
budget, and schedule. The Project Manager meets with each
subconsultant on a periodic basis to coordinate key technical
issues, schedule requirements, and upcoming work. If the
subconsultant falls behind schedule, they will be required to
add staffing until the progress meets the schedule.
Sustainability
The CES Team’s experience with sustainable solutions for
roadways and infrastructure encompasses a wide range
of applications. CES has been involved in planning and
designing of projects with sustainable protocols, including:
»Energy efficient motors for pump stations and other
operating equipment
»Variable speed drives for equipment motors
»Grass swales in urban areas to reduce stormwater
runoff and improve water quality
»Streetscape designs that incorporate less concrete
paved surfaces and sustainable landscape plantings
»Energy efficient lighting for public spaces and
roadways
»Development of water reuse facilities and pipelines
»Cost of service structure for utilities that promote
conservative use by customers
»Expansion of public transportation
»Improvement in bicycle and pedestrian access to
local business and parks
»Permeable pavement for stormwater management
»Low water irrigation, drought tolerant landscaping
»Reduction in fertilizer usage to improve surface
water quality
»Retrofit of facilities and residences with water
efficient fixtures
